"Level 3 Heat Warning" issued by WSCC

Met Office warning for Friday 17th June to Sunday 19th June
West Sussex County Council's Partnership and Communities Team has issued the following statement on 15th June 2022:
The Met Office has issued a Level 3 – Heatwave Action Heat Health Alert for parts of England, including the Southeast
There is a 90 % probability of Heat-Health Alert criteria being met between 0000 on Friday and 0000 on Sunday in parts of England including the South East.

What are the potential impacts?
The very young, the elderly and the seriously ill are the groups who are particularly at risk of health problems when the weather is very hot. In particular, very hot weather can make heart and breathing problems worse.
